A long time gone
I met someone recently who made me think about my real passions, who I really am, what I really want to do, how to be the artist that I want to be. And I realised that for too long now, I have been coming up with excuses for not getting out into the landscape. The landscape that brought me to photography in the first place, the landscape that makes me feel alive and like the real me, stripped back of modern day masks and distractions. So last week, I went to the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides with a couple of photography friends, to recharge batteries, to do some soul-searching, relax and just to enjoy being in the landscape with my camera again.
There will be a lot more thoughts and images from that trip coming soon…

Also the landscape is my passion. Do not miss out. Very good composition.
